My summer book list.

When I was a kid, I used to walk out of the library with a stack of books as high as my head. I think the librarian felt bad that she had to limit the amount – but it didn’t matter; I’d be back the following week, ready for the next pile. Reading was my escape from a difficult home environment and any time that I could, I’d stay in the library. It was such a comfort to be surrounded by books.

Now that the world is digitized and nearly telepathic, I don’t visit libraries much anymore. I’m kind of a germaphobe and the idea of used books…just, no. 😂 But I do have an overloaded Kindle and am in a book reading phase now — especially since going off social media.

Here are some of the books I’ve read in the last few months — I’ve only included the ones I really loved!

Station Eleven and After The Flood (‘cause who doesn’t love a good dysoptian/natural disaster novel during a pandemic?)

The Night Circus

The Immortalists

Initiated: Memoir of a Witch

I’m working on:

The RA Contact: Teaching the Law of One

Awakening The Dream: Contact with the Divine

The Stillwater Girls

Come As You Are

Happy reading! 📚
