I sat down for a virtual chat with Dani to talk about my long, strange teaching career . . . which eventually morphed into being a Tarot reader.
We are all teachers. It’s just a matter of learning the most effective ways of sharing our gifts, while always being open to change.

Are you drawn to the Tarot — but have no clue how to “read” the cards?
Learn from a master Tarot reader with 10 years of experience.
I’m Raven Mardirosian. You may know me as Pyramid’s “Director of Intuitive Wellness” — but I just prefer “in-house Tarot Reader”. I’ve read Tarot cards for a decade and have given sessions to thousands of clients around the world (you may have been one).
The Tarot is a remarkable tool to guide us through daily life but it’s wise to learn from a teacher who knows the cards. I’d be happy to start you on the path of understanding the Tarot. Tarot 101 is a hands-on class with a down-to-earth teacher. If you have very little knowledge of the Tarot but would like to learn more, this is the class for you. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and practice reading Tarot cards!
What you’ll learn in the 90 minute Tarot 101 class:
- Drop your fear and be confident with your Tarot deck (I did, after being a fundamentalist Christian for 20 years — and you can, too.)
- Learn how to care for your Tarot deck and prepare for a reading.
- Discover the first 22 cards of the Tarot — known as the Major Arcana — and find out how they link together.
- Practice reading a basic Tarot spread with me and 3 other students.
Required Tarot deck:
- The Rider-Waite (full-size, not mini) or The Radiant Rider-Waite. You must have your own deck to participate. Decks are available for sale at Pyramid, online or various bookstores. You only need to bring a Rider-Waite deck, not the book, for my Tarot 101 class.
- Please bring a notebook and pen, too.
