Many people are coming out of the woo closet these days. In fact, they are being pushed because their gifts are so needed on the planet. I’ve heard about people who finally admit that yes, they hear voices from beyond this dimension or that they can easily read the energy of others or have premonitions and channel messages. These are perfectly normal people that you would find in any profession.
15 years ago, I would have said that most of them were bat-shit crazy. I gave into my cynical side quite a bit back then, because I was fighting my own numerous closets. Fortunately, I’ve lived long enough to see that those who have these gifts will only be truly happy once they start using them. I could have fought my sensitivity my whole life and died a bitter woman, so I’m grateful for all of the teachers that encouraged my evolution into this weird and wonderful world.
This isn’t to say that I’m better than anyone else. At times, it sucks to be psychic but there’s a reason I have my gifts, like you have yours: to help others, to offer them in service, and to never put yourself above anyone because you have them.
