Many of you are uncertain, anxious, restless. You don’t know where to put your energy and feel like anything you do isn’t helpful enough.
This particular time is a prime example of when spiritual practice goes into mega-action. It’s easy to “be spiritual” when things quietly move along. When the world upturns, that’s when all of the work you’ve done – meditation, prayer, faith and trust – supports you in a concentrated, focused way. If you’re a Christian, the Bible is very clear on how to treat immigrants and strangers at your door, a.k.a. the “least of these” because they are Jesus. I call that idiot-proof instruction. God clearly lays out how to treat each other, knowing that it is the most difficult teaching for us to follow.
If you’re spiritual but have no religious affiliation like me, “love your neighbor as yourself” is still relevant. Spirituality is not separate from the physical world. This isn’t the time to be floating around in the 5th dimension. Here, now. It doesn’t require that you spout off about politics. As a healer, it means that you reach out and alleviate suffering. This is a unique period in human history and you incarnated for that reason. Your soul knows exactly what to do.
These are rich times, sensitive old souls. Ramp up that wisdom and magic. We all need it and the faster we rise in consciousness. This is the shift, baby. You are the change that visionaries have seen for years.
Spread positive energy. Limit your news intake. Remember that nothing is really as it seems and that it’s okay to hold a position that others think is wrong. Maybe they’re right. But love and positive energy are never wrong. There is so much need in this world that taking sides is unnecessary. The commandments in all major religions are clear about the vulnerable and oppressed. We are meant to help each other. Call your senators. Rescue a starving animal. Talk to the parent you can’t stand. Be kind to yourself. Eat clean food. Donate to a cause. Wheever you create healing in yourself, the world benefits. Now is the time. Being “of spirit” is not separate from the physical body. We are meant to be here. Take action.
